LGBT and Mental Health

Nearly twice as many LGBT people have mental health problems as heterosexuals. Within that group, bisexuals and trans-gender people are even more isolated. More on this at:  http://blackdogtribe.com/news-features/lgbt-data-disparities-mental-health

More than 43 percent of gay and lesbian students identified having three or more mental health stressors — such as failing a class or parental conflicts — in Boynton’s College Student Health Survey, compared to almost a quarter of heterosexual students.
